The Brink Of Disaster

"The tiger in my tank/ is going to go extinct/ And I'm not feelin' so good myself/ I think I'm on the brink of disaster!"

At last! My own little corner of dysfunction and ranting available whenever and wherever you choose. And yes, it is all about me.

The (New) Bane of My Existence

YouTube may destroy me.

I have become utterly obsessed with my channel: adding videos; creating playlists; searching through Japanese-language websites to find content. I'm a mad man!

I feel about YouTube the way my other friends seem to have felt about MySpace.

Now, if only I had this sort of drive and energy to apply to preparing for finals.

Speaking Of a Highly Racialized Society

This is absolutely one of the most shocking things I've seen in a very long time.

I knew things were different in the South, but I had no idea they were that different.

Free At Last (Again)!

As usual, I'm a little behind on the goings-on at WOXY, but now that I know that they're broadcasting for free again, I'm going to be all over 'em like stink on...you know.

Vive the Future of Rock-n-Roll!

Feeling Strangely FIne

As you may have guessed from the recent flurry of activity, I'm feeling much more like my cranky old self lately (and none too soon).

Now, I just need to get ready for exams in a week-and-a-half, find a source of income for the summer, and drop about two stone.

Ah, it never ends.

Mr. Imus & Mr. Cho

Thank you, Don Imus, for reminding us that the United States still have a profoundly--if tacitly--racist social structure.

I can't really thank Cho Seung-Hui, nor do I want to.. But do you know what they call days like yesterday in the Sudan, Gaza, the West Bank, and Baghdad?

Monday.

Say Cheese

Dedicated to my roommate, Sick Boy: three months of aging cheddar.

Did you ever notice...

Did you ever notice that some people look remarkably simian?

It's usually men, especially ones with very short hair (though not always).

I'm not sure what it is, actually: the shape of the head; the heaviness of the brow-ridge, the turn of the mouth; the way the cranium juts forward on the neck rather than rising directly above the shoulders? I don't know.

And the creationists say there's no way humans and apes can be descended from a common ancestor.

Success!

Est finis: it is finished.

I have finally gotten through the bane of my existence, Legal Research and Writing.

It was 21 hours late--which is a sight better than the week extension I had to get for the last assignment--but it's done.

Hallelujah!
